Tonight, you dream of something. In your dreams, you're in an illuminated
cave with glowing flora and names of plants that you don't know. There
seems to be a light breeze dancing around. However, everything seems
familiar. This place, have you been here before? Dear Protagonist,
I don't believe I've taken you here before. No matter, though. This
dream is important, and a tangent isn't necessary.
In the center of this cave is a beautiful mushroom tree. Something about
this mushroom tree seems... familiar? But I digress. Dear Protagonist,
you're walking down the lavender path towards the mushroom tree. As dreams
go, the mushroom tree glows brighter. The carolled whistling of the winds
grew stronger. A voice rang out, calling your name.
"Is this your first time? Is this your last time? How many times have you
been here?" It asked you. But not Dear Protagonist.
You, my dear friend.
"Regardless, I'm giving you a choice. You may choose to think about
it carefully, or not." The mushroom tree dims a bit.
"You go out tomorrow, and get a text. Your friend is going to message you
about having a picnic at a park. Their little sister will tag along, and
you'll see something beautiful. You can choose to say yes to this lovely
endeavor. However, things may get dull and colorless after a while. Or,
maybe they don't. I cannot completely predict your future. However, I do
know one thing.
This is the safest option for you."
"You still
have another option. You can forgo this interaction and choose to spend
your time doing something else. I suggest you leave the city for a bit and
spend some time for yourself. I can sense something from this
interaction... but I cannot say if you'll be okay. Something might happen
to you. This option is a bit unpredictable."
"No matter what, you have a choice. The first event will happen. You are
the mouse, going down the path to get the
cheese right outside your door."
Choose wisely.
