Sunny Skies.

Hm, you decided to take the safe route. The mushroom tree's bioluminescence fades as your dream ends. Dear Protagonist, their life is in your hands.

You wake up, a bit dizzy. Dear Protagonist checks their phone, and they squint at the bright light. You know what's going to happen, right? "...It's too early in the morning." Dear Protagonist thinks, noting that it's currently 4:28AM. Dear Protagonist mindlessly scrolls on social media for a bit before a text message pops up. You knew this would happen. You are safe. Time is flowing normally.

"Yo, buddy! My parents dropped off my little sister for me to babysit today. You wanna have a picnic? I can get the bites, you get the beverages?"
Main Protagonist rolls their eyes. Their friend, Andrew, can be a bit of a spontaneous guy at times. But, they know that they don't have plans for the rest of the week. Plus, when was the last time you had a picnic? Main protagonist quickly replied yes, in which elicited a quick response from Andrew. "GO TO BED"You laugh. Andrew is also awake too, isn't he? How hypocritical. "wbu. you sleep too." Main Protagonist quips back, shutting off their phone. It's time to get a bit more sleep before the day begins.

Later in the day, Main Protagonist wakes up. Food is made and eaten, clothes are thrown on, and now Main Protagonist is out the door to get the drinks for the picnic later. "2:15PM at the usual park." was what Andrew said. They go to the store to buy their, Andrew's, and Andrew's little sister's favorite drinks. You think that they might need to get some napkins or utensils. No matter. Main Protagonist pays for the drinks and goes for a walk. There is still some time before the picnic.

As the time nears, Main Protagonist decided to head over to their "secret" picnic spot. Andrew and Main Protagonist have been friends for years, and picnics became a recurrence. You don't know how they can have picnics so often. "Yo! We got here before you, huh?" Andrew calls, giving Main Protagonist a fist bump. Andrew's little sister, Klee, skips over. "Klee is so happy to see you again!" She chirped, opting for a knee hug considering how short she is. How cute. You notice the smiles on everyone's faces. You notice the sage grass, the winding trees, and the bright blue sky. Everyone's chatting, and laughing. It seems like a great day.

"Klee wants to know why Klee can't visit more often!" The bright girl pouted. You know why she can't visit. "Andrew and I are busy to play all the time." Main Protagonist tried to reason. Andrew nodded, but knew the words wouldn't get through his little sister. She's too young to understand the concept. "Klee thinks that we should always play all day! That makes Klee and everyone happy! Why do something that makes you sad?" Klee exclaimed. You shook your head. The world doesn't work that way, after all. Main Protagonist and Andrew try their best to explain to the little girl, but to no avail. You sigh, before noticing something in the sky. Andrew looks up, and points at it. "Klee, you should check this out!"

Klee, who was declaring who still doesn't understand her, widened her eyes. Main protagonist smiled. "The clouds made a cool shape, huh?"

Nothing is different. Nothing has happened. You are okay.
